When a Tacoma, Washington --based wedding venue needed a new identity that showcased their property overlooking the Pugent Sound, they turned to Easterly + Associates to create that brand. Much like the Pacific Northwest itself, their new mark is elegant, simple, straightforward, and focused on nature. Jonathan Kniss, CEO and founder of The Overlook, said, " Easterly gave our venue exactly what we were looking for: an identity that seperates us from the rest of Tacoma's wedding sites. We especially love the graphic elements taken directly from the views at our venue."

We're proud to be sponsors of the 2017 Krewe of Cajuns and Cowboys Crawfish Boil at the Irish Cowboy on March 11th, 2017. . Not only is it right in our wheelhouse (since some of us are cajuns, and some of us are cowboys), but it's also for a great cause, with proceeds benefitting Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. To learn more, or to purchase tickets, head over to cajunsanscowboys.org. We'll see you there!

STORIES OF A WORKFORCE: CELEBRATING THE CENTENNIAL OF THE HOUSTON SHIP CHANNEL
Houston Arts Alliance’s Folklore + Traditional Arts Program, in partnership with Houston Public Library, produced a major exhibition, Stories of a Workforce: Celebrating the Centennial of the Houston Ship Channel, in a beautifully renovated gallery at the Julia Ideson Library in downtown Houston. The exhibit explores the diverse culture, heritage and lore of work associated with the Houston Ship Channel and introduces the general public to the men and women who make up the massive workforce. The exhibit tracks the first 100 year of the Houston Ship Channel with photo and audio installations, augmented by authentic equipment, garments and personal work logs.
Houston Arts Alliance turned to Easterly + Associates to build an online gallery that told a compelling narrative true to the physical exhibit.
What's not to love about fast cars, historic racetracks and a city with an up-and-coming reputation as a foodie's paradise? That's why we're always exciting for the month of May when we head to Indianapolis to support the marketing efforts of our Kingdom Racing clients during the Indy 500. While their entrant, Sage Karam, crashed (thankfully nobody got hurt) around the halfway point of the race, he provided what was arguably the most exciting component of the entire 500, as the 21-year old gained nearly twenty spots in less than 100 laps.
Easterly + Associates is excited to announce that we've spread our wings east of the Mississippi (okay, so it's only about 300 yards east, and it's geographically WEST of the Mississippi, thanks to some heavy ox- bowing), to the Crescent City, The Big Easy, Nawlins or NOLA. Call it what you will -- we're excited to be a part of it all.
Located in the historic Lower Garden District, our New Orleans office will offer a closer, more local appoach to our existing and future NOLA clients, while continuing to support the creative efforts of our main office. Stop by and see us, or email us so we can chat over a coffee or a sazerac.
